When his family is faced with eviction off their property for failure to pay back taxes, Andrew McArthur, known as “Mac,” decided he has to do something, but he’s limited due to his poor upbringing. What’s a poor southern man that’s worked hard his whole life supposed to do when he faces financial issues? The only thing he can do…gamble. Mac buys a ticket for a record-breaking $2 billion lottery while at the same time using his last $100 at the blackjack table, only to learn that both are about to pay out and payout big! He doesn’t immediately inform his family, but he will pay off the back taxes so they keep their home, and then he informs them that they’ve all got to work to keep their land in this new film studio called “Southern Bound Studios”. What will follow will be a hilarious mix of redneck ingenuity, skill, and disaster as they work to become a full-fledged movie studio with nothing more than a dream and investment from Mac that will keep the family in the dark while also making them all wealth they’ve never seen!

*NOTE: This project isn’t intended to make fun of the southern life in anyway but highlight some of the best things of southerners in a comical way.
